Shape Up or Ship Out

I was a very quiet blogger during the month of May.  I was very busy wrapping up my first school year of teaching and beginning my first course towards my Master's degree.  Now that I have the summer off and I've gotten the hang of online classes, however, I'm really hoping to document my summer fun here.

I was feeling very nautical today, as I often do during the summer, so Dan and I thought we'd shoot some photos down where my parents dock their boat.  Afterwards, we saw Midnight In Paris.  We both really enjoyed it.  I'm not going to write a full-fledged review here, but I'd highly recommend it.  Much of the film takes place in the '20's, and it was such a treat to look at the beautiful costumes, hair, and make-up.  It really made me want to chop my hair into a short, chin-length bob again, but as you can see, it finally can be pulled back in a pony tail now, which is oh so nice on muggy summer afternoons when I don't want it on my neck.

Shirt: Tommy Hilfiger (from the outlet a few years ago)
