Tonight I'm going out with Dan and my parents to dinner and a movie. I used these plans as an excuse to get all dolled up. Dan suggested we drive over to Edinboro Lake to snap a few photos before dinner while the sun was still shining. It was during this shoot that I decided there was no way I could possibly wear this outfit out tonight. It's just too cold! As a matter of fact, this happens to me rather frequently during the winter months. I find just the perfect skirt to wear, then end up throwing on a pair of jeans at the last minute in hopes of staying warm. As strong as my affinity for tights may be, I abandon them most days. Suffer for fashion? Not me!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean in terms of being comfortable over being cute-- I have so many outfits that would look great with heels but because it'll all hills here in S.F., I end up being in comfy flats if I have to walk anywhere.
ReplyDeleteoh, well c'est la vie!
